> One of Eco-Move’s core objectives is to reach out and support environmental charities, whilst working towards achieving government/global goals for sustainability & climate change.

Box Collection Scheme
> A major resource in removal jobs is the use of cardboard boxes, which are generally thrown away after a single use.
> A large portion may end up in landfill sites or even burnt.
> Eco-Move Removals offer a collection after-use service, which means the customer has less mess and we reuse the boxes or correctly recycle the ones that are damaged/unusable.
Reduction Of General Plastics & Improved Recycling
> Bubble wrap, pallet wrap, parcel paper & sticky tape are single-use items, which are generally thrown away after use.
> Eco-Move Removals has altered its methods of item protection by mostly using reusable items such as protective blankets, item-specific covers and straps/cords wherever possible.
> In cases where we might have to use traditional packaging, we have introduced biodegradable bubble wrap, black bin bags & wrap products as standard, to reduce harm to the environment. We also ensure that any other packing is recycled appropriately after use.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
Some of the key sectors that we have identified to improve:
> Reduction of waste, through using more reusable materials, item covers and straps.
> Correctly recycling any of the disposable materials that are used on the jobs appropriately.
> Fuel & emissions will be reduced through experienced workers efficiently loading the vans with minimal dead space. This will help reduce multiple drops and unnecessary travel.
Supporting Environmental Targets, Goals & Charities
> Eco-Move Removals are up for the challenge, by adapting our work methods to consider and work towards the government guidance, targets and global goals - 13 climate action ‘
> Alongside this, we try our best to regularly donate and support several environmental charities such as Trillion trees, WWF, WCS & Birdlife International.
