Commercial Delivery - Tamworth
As part of our ever-growing company, we provide a full range of commercial services to cater for all business needs. One of our services is handling and delivering small to large furniture items for companies with an overflow of orders. This allows small to large-scale companies to distribute larger amounts of orders in a smaller timeframe and ultimately provide a better customer experience. We deliver items such as beds, sofas, wardrobes and many more. Here you can see a large number of sofas ready for distribution. We also provide assembly and installation onsite the same day.
Storage Unit - Local Move - Oldbury
With our large network of associated storage unit facilities, our lovely client Paul contacted our team regarding the delivery and storage of his large collection of precious books which needed storing to allow for safe keeping as well as freeing up space at his home. Once our team arrived at Paul’s home we safely and securely loaded all packaged boxes onto the van ready for transport to an associated storage facility in the local area. Once arrived, an adequate size unit is organised and ready for placement of goods. All goods are safely placed to allow walking access and visibility of items for quick and easy selection from the customer when needed.
Residential - Long Distance Move - London/Wolverhampton
This client required help relocating from a tight two bed central London apartment to an impressive 6 bed house in Wolverhampton. The 250+ mile round trip, allowed the customer to move back closer to their family and friends. We faced the usual London challenges of limited parking, a large number of stairs leading upto the apartment, plus a tight stairwell with corner return. The customer opted for our experienced relocation service only. All larger items had been pre-disassembled and packed by the customer, however there were a few mirrored items that we provided additional protection for piece of mind on the long journey back.
Commercial - GTG Training Academy/Wolverhampton LoknStore
The Good Egg Safety company needed same-day assistance to clear and relocate all their testing equipment, manikins and test rigs from their training facility to a secure storage unit. A major challenge on this job was that all the items required wrapping and packing in a large variety of mixed boxes, which was very time-consuming. We also provided new storage boxes with easy access lids for the valuable manikins. This ensured they were fully protected from any damage in both transport and storage.
Residential - 3 Bed House Move - Birmingham
This client was relocating within Birmingham to gain additional space from a larger home as well as gaining more opportunities within the client’s current line of work as a result of being within closer proximity. The challenge of this job was the tight stairwell access. To help overcome this we provided the following services, pre-move professional packaging, assembly & disassembly of larger items in order to reduce the risk of damage to items as well as the property itself.
Residential/Commercial - Long Distance Move - South Wales/Oldbury Storage Giant
Our client was looking into relocating from Newport in Wales to Birmingham, as she was now retiring from her business and starting a new venture. The property consisted of a commercial salon downstairs and a one-bedroom studio above. Due to the nature of the property, the access was limited with steep narrow stairs, hallways with minimal turning room and tight door frame widths. However, this didn’t stop the Eco-Move team, as we were able to remove all items via various exits. The sofa’s provided us with the biggest challenge of the day, as the feet needed to be removed for better manoeuvrability/access, plus they could only fit via the back entrance, which lead to a longer lifting distance to the van through a narrow side gully. Once the Van was safely packed and ready to go, we then completed the 200mile round trip at the Giant Storage unit, where we proceeded to unload and safely store all the furniture. We left the sofas at the front of the unit as per our client’s request to sell the Sofas at a later date.
Residential - 2 Bed House Move - Wolverhampton
This was a local Wolverhampton move, where the client was relocating from a small 2 bedroom terraced house with limited street parking to a luxury 4 bedroom detached forever home. A big challenge on this job was the sheer quantity of client’s boxes, bags, suitcases and bulky items, with limited access throughout the house. To help overcome this we provided the following services, extra packaging & protection for fragile, assembly/disassembly of larger items for better manoeuvrability and a multi-drop between properties to prevent overloading the van & risk of damage in transit.
Commercial - Storage Unit Organisation & Stock Move - Burntwood
The client needed advise on how to best maximise shelf storage space for new stock, whilst creating a more organised and workable environment for packing goods with in their self storage unit. Our services included space planning & layout measure up, rubbish disposal & recycling, flat pack shelf assembly and stock relocation.
Residential - Eco Man With A Van - Wolverhampton
This client needed help transporting a large number of 6ft fence panels and heavier items like concrete gravel boards, door/window frames, and other bulky items/materials. A narrow side ally access created a slight loading challenge as the van could not be parked close to the removal items.
Commercial - Shop Stock To House Storage Move - Walsall/Solihull
This client was closing their shop in Walsall and required removal of the stock to their secure home garage in Solihull. This job included disassembly, rubbish disposal & recycling, partial packaging service and stock relocation.
Residential - 3 Bed House Move - Birmingham/Stourbridge
What a lovely day for a removal! As we all know the UK doesn’t always give us too many days of lovely sunshine, so it makes it an even better day for an Eco-Move when it does. Our client Contacted us to discuss moving house from Rowley Regis (Birmingham) to the Stourbridge region, as they were looking to upgrade the amount of available space in their house. A large majority of this client’s belongings were stored in large plastic trunks, this allowed the team to stack easily and efficiently whilst also reducing the risk of damage to any items inside. One of the obstacles on this job (although the removal was completed smoothly with great access) was the concrete steps at the front of the property. Due to the current quality of the steps, the team had to be extra cautious, to not trip, this does add additional time to the day. However, hazardous obstacles/routes are risk assessed before the removal takes place, to maximise safety for all personnel and clients’ furniture.
Residential - Eco Man With A Van - Bilston/Wolverhampton
The client needed help transporting a number of large, heavy barrels from a lovely home in Bilston to a storage unit. Having worked within a community church, providing a large number of meals and various other needs for the homeless. Our client unfortunately was no longer able to continue her very helpful service and was looking to sell the equipment. Therefore she required both her garage and the storage unit to have walking space, to be able to view items for sale. The majority of the barrels weighed over 40kgs and therefore, required two team members to lift. Our team used a mixture of manual handling techniques and equipment to move the barrels. Overall the client was extremely happy with the service and also booked in for a repeat job at a later date.
